Dr. Janet Graham of 体育菠菜大平台 English will explore what reading entails for a literary scholar of contemporary literature and culture who is trying to come to terms with the world as we know it. She will discuss how "relationality" and "layered conjuncture," two signature methods in her research, support the process of making sense of what we read in books, culture, and the environment. This lecture accompanies "Piece de Resistance: Avoided Questions of a Complacent Society" on 12/3 and 12/5 and will run from 2:00-2:30, with a panel of student papers starting at 2:45.
